NOTICE OF ORDINANCE ADOPTION
TOWNSHIP OF OVERISEL
ALLEGAN COUNTY, MICHIGAN
TO: THE RESIDENTS AND PROPERTY OWNERS OF THE TOWNSHIP OF OVERISEL,
ALLEGAN COUNTY, MICHIGAN, AND ANY OTHER INTERESTED PERSONS:
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the following Ordinance was adopted by the Overisel Township Board at
a regular meeting held at Overisel Township Hall, A-4307 144th Ave, Holland, MI, at 7:30 pm on
September 9, 2025 as summarized below:
ORDINANCE NO 2025-001: An amendment to the Overisel Township Zoning Map.
ARTICLE I. Amend the Official Zoning Map and rezone from AG- Agricultural to R-1, Rural Estates
the parcel addressed as 4035 136th Ave. also known as Parcel Number 03-18-034-017-00 and legally
described as
W 1/2 GOVT LOT 7 SEC 34 T4N R14W. This parcel encompasses approximately 31.52 acres.
ARTICLE II. SEVERABILITY. This section provides for the repeal of any conflicting Ordinances.
ARTICLE III. EFFECTIVE DATE
This Ordinance shall take effect eight days following publication after adoption.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that a true copy of these Ordinance is on file in the Office of the
Clerk at Overisel Township Office and that a copy of this Ordinance may be inspected, reviewed or
purchased by contacting the undersigned during regular business hours on regular working days. A copy
of this Ordinance may also be viewed on the Township website at www.Overiseltownship.org.
